Scope and Contents

Collection includes Meeting summaries, personal notes and the research of Michael Vereb, State Representative and secretary of the Commission, and Eric Fillman, Democratic Caucus legal coucil. The collection also includes copies and analysis of bills and amendments introduced and voted on by the Speaker's Commission, testimonies presented to the Commission, Final drafts of the new Rules of the House and news releases, meeting votes and newspaper clippings regarding the Speaker's Commission.

One full box, containing 25 folders regarding the two phases of the Commission, including the organization of, the schedule of and the meetings and public hearings held by the Commission. One half box, containing candid photos of the Commission, as well as the drafts and final draft of House Resolution 108 and Phase II recommendations and supplements. One half box of research materials, news clippings and miscellaneous. One half box of DVD's of Commission meetings and public hearings, as well as recordings of two House Session days that include debates on the Commissions recommendations.
