The records of the Judiciary Committee from the 1987-1988 Session, the Democrats in majority. The Chairs were H. William DeWeese (Majority) and Nicholas Moehlmann (Minority). The Chairs of the Subcommittee on Courts were Gerald Kosinski (Majority) and Terrence McVerry (Minority). The Chairs of the Subcommittee on Crime and Corrections were Kevin Blaum (Majority) and Jeffrey Piccola (Minority). The Secretary was David Mayernik (Majority).

These files were kept separate and maintained as majority party research files under then Majority Chair H. William DeWeese. These files may overlap with files within the Judiciary Committee files from 1987-1988, but to maintain integrity within the collection they are being added as a separate series at the conclusion of the Committee files.

These files were in a flood many years ago, so papers are not in perfect condition and may have leftover rust stains or discoloring.
