Report of the Select Committee Appointed under House Resolution 132 by the Legislative Reference Bureau and Staff of the Joint State Government Commission, January 4, 1960.
On December 18, 1959, a Select Committee was appointed to study the amendment to Article II, Section 4 of the Constitution of Pennsylvania regarding the powers of the General Assembly.
Members appointed by Speaker Hiram G. Andrews (D) to the Select Committee include: Stephen McCann (D-House Majority Leader), George X. Schwartz (D-House), James S. Berger (R-Senate Majority Leader), Frank W. Ruth (D-Senate), Raymond P. Shafer (R-Senate), and James S. Bowman (R-House).
