VHS tape

Designed by Cee Jay Associates of West Chester, PA, made of granite, stone, and concrete composition. Its design evokes "the ruins of a war-torn building centered in a land of solemnity." It took six years to raise the appropriate funds and to build the memorial.

Notable speakers and attendees: Secretary of Homeland Security Thomas Ridge, Governor Mark Schweiker, Rep. Peter J. Zug, Rep. Paul W. Semmel, Senator Richard A. Tilghman, Senator Robert M. Tomlinson, Senator Robert D. Robbins, Senator Jack E. Wagner. It took six years to raise the appropriate funds and build the memorial.
