The papers of Robert W. Godshall contain his legislative work, subject files, and correspondence during his time in office. The first three boxes and some in the fourth are from Godshall's collection that deal with committees. Godshall's personal files are in the series following. Much of the legislative work and subject files during that time are labeled as such and contain information and research on bills that went through his committee. His personal legislative work and subject files dealt with second amendment rights, making seat belts mandatory, hunting rights, and other issues relating to Montgomery County. There are some speeches within the collection, in addition to photos that were kept within the specific file.
