 Series — Box: 2

Scope and Contents

From the Collection:

This collection contains files from 1992-1994, and consists of legislation, newsletters, speeches, news clippings, and various information on statewide topics. The collection provides a broad overview of Leo Joseph Trich Jr.'s work in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, highlighting the issues he focused on and the concerns of his constituents. Representative Trich was interested in issues related to tax reform, health care cost containment, reducing firearm violence in schools, expanding and licensing dental assistants, prohibiting sale of out-of-state lottery tickets, and welfare organizations such as Head Start and Women, Infants, and Children. The collection was maintained as close to the original order as possible and dates were provided where available. Legislation that Trich sponsored was kept in the order it was received in and identified by topic of legislation or bill number when available. The topic files in the collection are arranged in alphabetical order by topic title. Each topic folder contains the research Representative Trich held on the subject and may include anything from speeches to pamphlets or newspaper clippings. In short, a researcher should search by topic file first.
