Leo Joseph Trich, Jr. served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 1988 until 2002. He represented the 47th Legislative District of Washington County. Trich was born on July 23, 1951 in Washington, Pennsylvania. He attended the California University of Pennsylvania and later Washington and Jefferson College.

Prior to his service in the House, Trich served on the Washington County Board of Commissioners and was an executive assistant from 1986-1987. He was also a District Administrator for the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue in 1988. In addition, he served on the Washington City Council from 1976 until 1980. From 1980 until 1984, he was a member of the United States Olympic Committee. He was involved with a variety of organizations including the Neighborhood House Association, the Pennsylvania Intergovernmental Council, Sons of America Legion Post 175, Holy Name Society, Kiwanis, and the United States Baseball Federation. He served as an administrator for National Youth Sports and was the president of Washington County Young Democrats.

While in the House, he served on the Appropriations Committee, the Commerce and Economic Development Committee, Intergovernmental Affairs, Democratic Policy Committee, Legislative Sports and Exposition, Veteran's Affairs and Emergency Preparedness, and the Facilities Task Force. He was the Democratic Subcommittee Chairman for the Health and Human Services Committee. He was also the Chairman of the Steel Caucus and Vice Chairman of the Southwest Caucus.

Trich retired prior to the 2002 election.
