The 1985-1986 session of the Consumer Affairs Committee was chaired by Democrat Charles Laughlin of the Majority. Allen G. Kukovich (Majority) served as Chair of the Subcommittee on Public Utilities. Alphonso Deal (Majority) served as Secretary. Republican Edward F. Burns, Jr. served as Minority Chair. Kathrynann Durham (Minority) served as Chairwoman of the Subcommittee on Public Utilities. There was no Minority Secretary.
