Memo, January 21, 2003, from Rep. Peter Zug to all House Members stating that he will be reintroducing legislation requiring law enforcement to notify a school if an employee is charged with a crime that would preclude them from employment at the education facility. Asking for co-sponsors.

Letter, April 30, 2003, from Rep. Peter Zug to Clarence Myer, he would like to change the co-sponsorship for HB 277 making Rep. Blaum the first co-sponsor to be listed.

Press Release, stating that the House unanimously passed House Bill 277 which aims to protect children from school employees who have committed violent or sexual crimes. This would allow law enforcement to notify schools or child care service of the alleged crimes.
