Letter, March 15, 1999, from Rep. Peter Zug to William Worrilow, thanking him for his comments on House Bill 78. Rep. Zug says that this bill would require the Department of Public Welfare to do at least one annual unannounced inspection of child care centers annually. It also requires mandatory criminal background checks for caregivers.

Letter, March 17, 1999, from Dr. Robert E. Mayer to Rep. Peter Zug, thanking him for responding to his phone call. He says that he has no problem with the bill itself but sees problems with the amendments of the bill which threaten religious child care facilities, asks him to change these amendments.
