The 1981-1982 Federal State Committee was chaired by George C. Hasay (R). The Vice Chair was Fred Belardi (R). The Secretary was Paul I. Clymer (R).

Some of the major topics discussed during the 1981- 1982 Session were House Resolutions 182, which proposed the adoption of "Pennsylvania Garden State Week," and 195, which proposed the General Assembly memorialize President and Congress help facilitate reduction of nuclear weapons in Soviet Union and United States.
