Scope and Contents
An Act amending the act of October 7, 1976 (P. L. 1090, No. 218), known as the "Protection From Abuse Act," adding and amending definitions; further providing for practice and procedure, relief and remedies; providing additional professional assistance for parties; providing for confidentiality; further providing for contempt orders; and requiring that the training of local law enforcement officers include instruction concerning protection from abuse.
