Biography
Margret Tricarico was born and raised in Scranton, Pennsylvania. After working in numerous positions, from restuarant manager to safety director for a local trucking company, Tricarico became a district office legislative aide for Representative John Broujos in 1990, a Democrat serving the 199th district comprised of Cumberland, Adams, and York counties. She would eventually serve as Broujos' chief of staff until he retired in 1992. In March of 1993, she became Committee Secretary for the Judiciary Committee under Representative Thomas Caltigirone. During the impeachment proceedings of Judge Rolf Larsen in 1994, Tricarico acted as staff under Representative Frank Dermody (D), who was the Chair of the Subcommittee on Courts at the time. In 1995 she began working for Representative H. William DeWeese (D) and eventually became his scheduler during his time as Democratic Leader. During her tenure under DeWeese, Tricarico aspired to win political office when she ran for the House in 1998 and 2000 for the 199th district, but was defeated in both elections.Tricarico would eventually rise to become DeWeese's Deputy Chief of Staff, and worked under him for 18 years before his indictment in 2010. In 2012 she became research analyst for the Professional Licensing Committee under Representative Harry Readshaw (D). She retired from public service in 2019.

Also included in the collection are miscellaneous documents related to the impeachment of Justice Rolf Larsen in 1994, as well as memorabilia and DVDs from various memorial ceremonies for deceased House and Senate Members.
