The collection contains materials from the committee meetings and the public hearings that were held on the subject on October 17 and 18, 1994. The bulk of the collection is made up of materials that were submitted to the committee for review by organizations such as the Fox Chase Cancer Center and Pennsylvania universities, who were seeking to keep their non-preferred status. The Final Report is also held in the collection. Approximately half of the records have been water damaged.
