The 1977-1978 Liquor Control Committee was chaired by James D. Barber (D). The Vice-chairman was John Wansacz (D). The Secretary was Thomas E. Flaherty (D). One of the topics discussed in the 1977-1978 session was amending the Liquor Code to provide for wholesale discounts and creating a new class of licenses entited "retail store licenses."
