Scope and Contents

The collection contains various materials related to primarily Kury's time in the House. A fierce proponent of Clean Streams, Kury was very active in legislation supporting environmental safeguards. Kury was also interested in election reform. Files on his sponsored legislation regarding absentee ballots are contained in the collection. News clippings, memoribilia and audio/visual materials make up other portions of the collection. Some personal material is included in the collection.
