The Appropriations Committee records for the 2005-2006 session. The Republican Party in Majority. Brett Fees served as Chair and Dwight Evans served as Minority Chair. The Vice Chair was Patrick Fleagle. Douglas Reichley was the Secretary and Thomas Tangretti was the Minority Secretary. The Chairs for the Subcommittee on Health and Human Services were Matthew Baker (Majority) and Michael Sturla (Minority). The Chairs for the Subcommittee on Education were Peter Zug (Majority) and Phyllis Mundy (Minority). The Chairs for the Subcommittee on Fiscal Policy were Steven Nickol (Majority) and Harold James (Minority). The Chairs for the Subcommittee on Economic Impact and Infrastructure were Curt Schroder (Majority) and Don Walko (Minority).

Method of Acquisition

Pursuant to House Rule 45 of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives (titled “Powers and Duties of Standing Committees and Subcommittees”) governing the management and disposition of historically valuable committee material, the secretary of the committee must record the attendance of Members and any votes taken, the minutes of the meeting and records, bills, and other papers in the possession of committees and subcommittees which must be submitted to the Chief Clerk at the end of every two year legislative session for permanent archival storage.
