The 1991-1992 Session of the Game and Fisheries Committee was chaired by Thomas J. Fee (Democrat) of the Majority. Michael C. Gruitza (Majority) served as Vice Chair and Michael Kelly Hanna, Sr. (Majority) served as Secretary. Leonardo Quirico Gruppo served as Minority Chair while Bruce I. Smith Jr. served as Minority Vice Chair. There was no Minority Secretary.

Arrangement Note

This collection is arranged into two boxes. Box one contains the following series: Meetings, Tours and Public Hearings (folders 1-26), Committee Correspondence (folders 27), House Bills (folders 28-39), Senate Bills (folders 40-43), House Blue Backs (folders 44-48) and Research on Gill Net Fishing (folders 49-56).

Box two contains the following series: Pennsylvania Game Commission Meetings (folders 1-8) and Fish and Boat Commission Hearings (folders 9-17).

Method of Acquisition

Pursuant to House Rule 45 of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives (titled “Powers and Duties of Standing Committees and Subcommittees”) governing the management and disposition of historically valuable committee material, the secretary of the committee must record the attendance of Members and any votes taken, the minutes of the meeting and records, bills, and other papers in the possession of committees and subcommittees which must be submitted to the Chief Clerk at the end of every two year legislative session for permanent archival storage.
