The 1991-1992 session of the Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee was chaired by Democrat Kenneth J. Cole of the Majority. Ruth C. Rudy (Majority) served as Vice Chair while Andrew Billow Jr. (Majority) served as Secretary.

This collection is arranged into two boxes. Box one contains the following series: Meetings, Tours and Public Hearings (folder 1-28) and House Bills (folder 29).

Box two contains the following series: House Bills (Cont'd) (folder 1-20), Senate Bills (folder 21-23), House Blue Backs (folder 24-29), Senate Green Backs (folder 30-31) and Committee Correspondence (folder 32-33).

Method of Acquisition

Pursuant to House Rule 45 of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives (titled “Powers and Duties of Standing Committees and Subcommittees”) governing the management and disposition of historically valuable committee material, the secretary of the committee must record the attendance of Members and any votes taken, the minutes of the meeting and records, bills, and other papers in the possession of committees and subcommittees which must be submitted to the Chief Clerk at the end of every two year legislative session for permanent archival storage.
