Scope and Contents

The 2013-2014 Game and Fisheries Committee saw the Republican Party in the Majority and the Democratic Party in the Minority. Majority Chairman was Martin Causer, and the Minority Chairman was Gary Haluska. Todd Rock was the Majority Vice Chair while Jon Galloway filled the position of Minority Vice Chair. Greg Lucas was the Majority Secretary and Gerald Mullery was the Minority Secretary. Some of the topics discussed during the 2013-2014 session were hunting and fishing licenses, protection of endangered species in Pennsylvania, designated areas for fishing, and laws for hunting.

Pursuant to House Rule 45 of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives (titled “Powers and Duties of Standing Committees and Subcommittees”) governing the management and disposition of historically valuable committee material, the secretary of the committee must record the attendance of Members and any votes taken, the minutes of the meeting and records, bills, and other papers in the possession of committees and subcommittees which must be submitted to the Chief Clerk at the end of every two year legislative session for permanent archival storage.
