The 1975-1976 Education Committee was chaired by James J. A. Gallagher (D). The Sub-Committee Chairman on Basic Education was Roland Greenfield (D) ). The Sub-Committee Chairman on Higher Education was Bill Shane (D). The Secretary was J. William Lincoln (D).

Gregory White served as the Execuitve Director of the Committee and collected many of these files. Some of the topics discussed were Long Range Planning, Open Classrooms versus Traditional Education, Youth Development Centers, and the School Code.
