Don Walko's collection is an outstanding resource for researchers interested in crime, prison reform, prescription drug costs, and private investigators and bounty hunter reform. Researchers interested in politics, the many concerns for legislators in Pennsylvania, and the Pennsylvania House of Representatives will also find this collection to be a valuable resource. The collection consists of campaign material, biographical and office materials, legislative work from 1995-2010, subject files, information regarding House District 20, correspondence, press, speeches, and awards.

It is important to note that the processor of this collection maintained Mr. Walko's original order as much as possible. Researchers interested in Mr. Walko and the topics in which he was involved should inquire for his Oral History Interview which was conducted on December 16, 2009.
