Scope and Contents

The 1981-1982 session of the Urban Affairs Committee was Chaired by Republican Marvin E. Miller, Jr. of the Majority. John M. Perzel (R) served as Chair on the Subcommittee on First Class Cities and Counties. George R. Pott, Jr. (R) served as Chair of the Subcommittee on Second Class Cities and Counties. Major topics of discussion were issuance of municipal street vendor licenses or permits, tax reform, land ownership agreements, sexual misconduct in public and provisions for bikeways. Much of the topics were headed by the Subcommittees of First and Second Class Cities and Counties.
