Scope and Contents

Correspondence involving Rooney, documents about his delegate operations during presidential elections, many photographs of him and his family in both political and personal matters, news clippings and recorded media about Rooney and his stances on issues, and documents pertaining to the political goings-on in Pennsylvania at the time.

This collection includes material from his family from c. 1960s to 1980s.

Scope and Contents This collection is comprised almost entirely of paper materials. It includes several folders containing campaign materials (especiall from his initial 1993 campaign). It also includes several folders pertaining to legislation for which Masland was either the prime sponsor or co-sponsor. Materials are from Republican Photographer, Jen Jones. Her father had these items, which were give to the Archives. Her father took the four images from Lemoyne looking across the river to Harrisburg. The newspapers are mainly from the aftermath of Hurricane Agnes in 1972.

One box contains the donated objects such as the gavels and name plates, and one file box of paper documents such as correspondence with local Republican committees.
