Transportation Committee, 1987-1988
This collection could have been originally housed at the PA State Archives. It was not processed and was found in the House Archives in it's original state. Not sure of transfer date, if any. It is not a complete committee collection as the main contents are of reports and subject files. The meeting files are not complete.
Many of the materials were stored improperly and had damage to pages with the House Blue Backs and the State Transportation Commission files.
Health and Welfare Committee, 1973-1974
The 1973-1974 Health and Welfare Committee was chaired by Sherman L. Hill (R) and Anita Palermo Kelly (Minority). The Sub-Committee Chairman of Health was Patricia A. Crawford (R), and James D. Barber (Minority). The Sub-Committee Chairman of Welfare was Richard A. McClatchy, Jr. (R) and Milton Berkes (Minority). Some of the topics of the 1973-1974 Health and Welfare Committee were Medicaid, Welfare, Food Service, and the Blossburg State Hospital.
