This select committee was formed on October 1, 1974 from House Resolution 203. It was created to investigate the operation of the Pennsylvania Harness Racing Commission. This investigation shall include, but not be limited to, the procedures by which licenses are issued for harness race meetings and the manner in which the commission permits track operation.
