Scope and Contents
This select committee was formed on December 12, 1973 with House Resolution 120. Prime sponsor for the resolution was Percy G. Foor. This committee was formed in response to a study and report undertaken by the staff of the Consumer Protection Committee. Chairman was Austin Harrier. Other members include, Eugene R. Geesey, John A. Scheaffer, James Knepper, C.L. Schmitt, Rose Toll, and John Brunner.
This folder contains two separate reports. 1. "Special Interim Report of Staff, Select Committee to Review Insurance Regulation to Honorable Austin M. Harrier, Chairman. Written by David Trull, Counsel, and Otis W. Littleton, Director. October 15, 1974.
