Final Report of Select Committee on Federal-State Affairs (HR 46), November 1974
Scope and Contents
This Select Committee was established April 9, 1973 with House Resolution 46 in an attempt to examine and determine what roles, duties, and opportunities can be exercised by State Legislatures in the area of intergovernmental relations. They also examined how other State Legislatures around the county handle intergovernmental issues. The final report was agreed upon on November 12, 1974.
The Select Committee was Chaired by H. Sheldon Parker, Jr. Other members include H. Jack Seltzer, W. William Wilt, G. Sieber Pancoast, Sherman L. Hill, Alvin Kahle, John H. Hamilton, Jr., Martin P. Mullen, John F. Laudadio, Sr., James J.A. Gallagher, Anita Palermo Kelly, Lester K. Fryer, and Earl Vann.
