This collection covers Kevin Blaum's time in the House of Representatives in addition to his time on the Wilkes Barre City Council. A majority of the collection deals with his long term involvement in the construction of the Wilkes Barre Arena. Within in the subject files are a sub series titled "Arena Project." Here, researchers will find alphabetical files from the project ranging from memorabiia to correspondence. Numerous matted items are included within the collection and are housed in an acid free textile box.

This collection is primarily left in origial order. Representative Blaum had a set order when he donated this collection, and it was left that way to preserve the collections' integrity.
