Pennsylvanians for Effective Government Trading Cards, bulk: 1991 - 1992
Scope and Contents
Originally in it's own collection- moved to General Manuscript during reprocessing.
In 2007, Joe Miller, Director of Republican Research, donated a set of collectible trading cards to the House Archives. This set was created by the Pennsylvanians for Effective Government (PEG) and includes information on the Members of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives and Senators of the Pennsylvania State Senate during the 1991-1992 Session. Each card includes the following information: birth date, year of start of service, number of terms, marital status, occupation, county serving, education history, political party, district number, positions of leadership (if applicable), addresses for Harrisburg and district offices, committee assignments, general election results from 1990 (House) and 1988 (Senate), 1990 Fall District Registration, election meters, votes meters, and a piece of trivia. While most of this information is available elsewhere, the format of the cards is unique and may be of interest to researchers looking for imaginative ways to engage and educate voters. Set includes 260 cards.
