Scope and Contents

From the Collection:

The records of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives Liquor Control Committee, the Republicans were in the majority, the Democrats were in the minority. The Chairs of the committee were Jeffrey Pyle (majority), and Daniel Deasy (minority). The commmittee only met during 2019 to vote on alcohol related bills. They also toured numerous distilleries and breweries across the state to get a better idea of business practices. Public Hearings were also held to hear from the restaurant industry and how upcoming bills could impact restaurants. The committee did not officially meet in 2020 due to covid-19.
