Scope and Contents

House Bill 33: An Act amending the act of June 13, 1967 (P.L.31, No.21), known as the Human Services Code, in public assistance, further providing for definitions, for general assistance-related categorically needy and medically needy only medical assistance programs, for the medically needy and determination of eligibility and for medical assistance payments for institutional care; in hospital assessments, further providing for definitions, for authorization, for administration, for no hold harmless, for tax exemption and for time period; and, in Statewide quality care assessment, further providing for definitions.

House Bill 1032: An Act amending the act of July 10, 1990 (P.L.404, No.98), known as the Real Estate Appraisers Certification Act, further providing for definitions and for State Board of Certified Real Estate Appraisers.

House Bill 1033: An Act amending the act of April 16, 1992 (P.L.155, No.28), known as the Assessors Certification Act, further providing for definitions and for duties of board; repealing provisions relating to qualifications; further providing for certification; providing for employees of political subdivisions; further providing for disciplinary and correction measures and for unlawful practice; repealing provisions relating to nonapplicability; and providing for assessors in counties of the first class.

House Bill 1034: An Act amending Title 53 (Municipalities Generally) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, in consolidated county assessment, further providing for definitions, for changes in assessed valuation and for abstracts of building and demolition permits to be forwarded to the county assessment office.

House Bill 1035: An Act amending the act of October 27, 1979 (P.L.241, No.78), entitled "An act authorizing political subdivisions, municipality authorities and transportation authorities to enter into contracts for the purchase of goods and the sale of real and personal property where no bids are received," further providing for title of the act; adding a short title; and providing for contracts for services.

House Bill 1036: An Act amending Title 8 (Boroughs and Incorporated Towns) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, in creation and alteration, further providing for definitions and for judicial adjustment; in elections of officers, further providing for decrease in number of members of council; and, in manufacture and supply of electricity, further providing for specific powers.

House Bill 1379:An Act repealing the act of June 22, 1935 (P.L.446, No.187), referred to as the Sunday Polo Act.

House Bill 1405: An Act repealing the act of June 22, 1935 (P.L.449, No.188), referred to as the Sunday Tennis Act.

House Bill 1410: An Act amending the act of December 8, 2004 (P.L.1801, No.238), known as the Transit Revitalization Investment District Act, in general provisions, further providing for declaration of policy and for definitions; providing for military installation remediation; and establishing the Military Installation Remediation Fund.

House Bill 1518: An Act amending Title 3 (Agriculture) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, providing for grant programs; and making a related repeal.

House Bill 1519:An Act amending Title 3 (Agriculture) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, providing for Commonwealth Specialty Crop Block Grant Program; and establishing the Commonwealth Specialty Crop Block Grant Fund.

House Bill 1520: An Act amending Title 3 (Agriculture) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, in Pennsylvania Preferred® Trademark, further providing for Pennsylvania Preferred® Trademark Licensing Fund and providing for military veterans; providing for grant programs; and making editorial changes.

House Bill 1521: An Act amending Title 3 (Agriculture) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, in Pennsylvania Preferred Trademark, providing for military veterans; and making editorial changes.

House Bill 1615: An Act amending the act of March 10, 1949 (P.L.30, No.14), known as the Public School Code of 1949, in preliminary provisions, further providing for Special Education Funding Commission; in school districts, providing for full academic year requirements; in school finances, further providing for annual budget, additional or increased appropriations and transfer of funds; in grounds and buildings, further providing for limitation on new applications for Department of Education approval of public school building projects; in district superintendents and assistant district superintendents, further providing for eligibility; in pupils and attendance, further providing for definitions and for nonprofit school food program; in Drug and Alcohol Recovery High School Pilot Program, further providing for audit required; establishing the Innovation Schools Program; in community colleges, further providing for financial program and reimbursement of payments; in educational tax credits, further providing for definitions, for qualification and application by organizations, for application by business firms, for tax credits, for limitations and for opportunity scholarships; adding provisions relating to postsecondary institution sexual harassment and sexual violence policy and online reporting system; in school districts of the first class, further providing for board of public education and additional duties; in ready-to-succeed scholarship, further providing for agency duties relating to eligibility criteria; in funding for public libraries, providing for State aid for fiscal year 2019-2020; in reimbursements by Commonwealth and between school districts, further providing for payments on account of pupils enrolled in vocational curriculums, for student-weighted basic education funding, for payments to intermediate units, for assistance to school districts declared to be in financial recovery status or identified for financial watch status, for Ready-to-Learn Block Grant and for payment of required contribution for public school employees' social security and providing for advanced placement and International Baccalaureate exam fees; providing for fostering independence through education; and providing for references to "area vocational-technical school" and "vocational curriculums" in statute or regulation.

Senate Bill 338:An Act amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, in size, weight and load, further providing for width of vehicles.
