This collection contains most of Michael Hanna, Sr.’s state legislative career from 1990-2014. Hanna was particularly concerned with matters of higher education funding, public safety in gaming and recreation, public land, environmental protection, natural gas and oil resources, district revitalization, and legislative downsizing during his tenure.

This extensive collection contains a vast array of subject files from Hanna’s career and legislative work. Photographs, legislative efforts, district visits, awards, and speaking notes are all accounted for in this collection.

Several oversized items are also included within this collection, which pertain to series: officially bound legislation, events, and awards. This collection contains copies of legislative work such as House Bills, Senate Bills, and House Resolutions ranging from 1990-2014. It also contains subject files regarding Rep. Hanna's work and research while in office (1990-2014). The collection also contains a number of awards and photographs; Videos/DVDs/CDs of his legislative journals and general correspondence.
