Scope and Contents
Sunset Issues voted on:
1. Should the statute be amended to preclude a public official from serving as a private citizen appointee on the Commission (on Crime and Delinquency)?
2. Should the statute be amended to determine more precisely the nature, scope, and content of the comprehensive criminal justice plan?
3. Should the statute be amended to provide that PCCD’s annual crime statistics report need not duplicate information contained in other state agency reports, unless a specific purpose exists?
4. Should the statute be amended to require removal of Commission members who fail to attend meetings on a regular basis?
5. Should the responsibility for supervising Deputy Sheriffs’ Training and Education be re-assigned to some other agency? If so, which one?
6. Should the statute be amended to enhance PCCD’s Crime Prevention Programs?
