This collection contains extensive material from 1975-1996 regarding David Wright’s legislative work and events that were happening in Clarion County. This collection primarily contains newspaper clippings and David Wright’s executive planners. This collection also contains select examples of David Wright’s campaign material and programs from various events that Representative Wright attended. Some of the select topics include agriculture, pornography and phone pornography, student loans, Sunset legislation, House Bill 1989 (1978) House Bill 1650 (1979), his unsuccessful run for Lieutenant Governor, issues regarding local bridges, gas taxes, Three Mile Island, wastefulness in the government (1979), WIC welfare (1982-1983), coal, work sharing, transportation, and private prisons.
