The records of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives' Liquor Control Committee, the Republicans in the majority, the Democrats in the minority. The Chairs of the Committee were Chris Ross (majority) and Paul Costa (minority). The Chairs of the Subcommittee on Licensing were Thomas Killion (majority) and Patrick Harkins (minority). The Chairs of the Subcommittee on Marketing were Curtis Sonney (majority) and Tim Mahoney (minority). The Secretaries of the Committee were Becky Corbin (majority) and Frank Burns (minority).

The Liquor Control Committee of 2015-2016 was involved in the debate around the privatization of liquor and wine sales in Pennsylvania. The Committee was responsible for passing a large licensing reform bill (HB 1690), which was signed into law (Act 39 of 2016), that began the process of divesting the State from the sale of wine and liquor. This legislation allowed private businesses to expand the types of alcoholic beverages they can sell.

The Committee also held a public hearing to address the implimentation of Act 39 of 2016. These Committee records also contain a number of regulations promligated by the Independent Regulatory Review Commission regarding liquor licensing within the Commonwealth.
