House Bill 52
Scope and Contents
This legislation would grant licensees and their employees the ability to confiscate an identification card if they have reasonable suspicion that the identification card is invalid.
This legislation would allow the Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement to investigate claims of invalid identification cards. If BLCE determines that a confiscated identification card is valid, the card shall be returned to its owner. If, however, BLCE determines that a card is invalid, they have the authority to investigate and cite the person found to be using the card.
