The 2007-2008 Labor Relations Committee includes records, bills, resolutions, and voting information of the Labor Relations Committee from the 2007-2008 Legislative Session. In addition to discussing topics of typical focus, the Committee also considered ways of more effectively utilizing sign language interpreters and transliterators (Regulation #12-71 Registration of Sign Language Interpreters and Transliterators); and reviewed safety precautions for the workplace (House Bill 1325, Occupational Safety ). The 2007-2008 Labor Relations Committee was chaired by Democrat Robert E. Belfanti. James Casorio served as the Committee Majority Vice Chair, while Frank A. Shimkus served as Secretary. Gene DiGirolamo served as Republican (Minority) Chair, and Scott W. Boyd served as the Minority Vice Chair.
