This series consists of an individual file for each day that the House of Representatives was in session, including non-voting days. These files contain information pertaining to the daily functions on the House floor. Each file contains a House calendar, a tabled bill calendar, the master roll call and record of votes for that session day. The files may also contain all official documents that are read across the Speaker's desk. Examples include leave of absence requests, lobbyist lists, bills read across the Speaker's desk, actuarial notes, reports from government agencies, veto messages and bills signed by the Governor, extracts from the Senate, and sponsor lists for individual bills. The Governor's budget reports and messages for each fiscal year are located in this series as well. The original materials found in the session day files are used to publish the information in the House Journal. The files are arranged chronologically by session year, and within that year by session day.
