Series Seven, labeled Miscellaneous Files, consists of various miscellaneous materials collected by the Calendar and Amendment Room. House and Senate bills that were left on the House Calendar can be located in this series. These bills are pieces of legislation that expired because they were left on the House or Tabled Bill Calendar without any final action. Bills cannot be carried over to the next session, therefore they die upon final adjournment of a session if they are not acted upon. Also found in this series are the cover sheets of Senate bills that were never voted on by the House of Representatives in the session. Bills reported out of committee with no final action can be located, as well as various reports and review over the years.
