The 2007-2008 Rules Committee was chaired by Democrat Majority Leader H. William DeWeese.

This collection contains agendas, attendance and vote records and copies of bills. There are no minutes, correspondence or research files in the collection. The 2007-2008 Rules Committee created only one page of the Committee Record which is contained in Box 1, Folder 1 as it is reflective of the meeting held on March 12, 2007.

The Rules Committee dealt with legislation issued due to Special Session #1, the topic of which was energy and the environment. Several bills passed through the Rules Committee during Special Session #1: House Bills 1, 3, 49, 62 and 64 and House Resolution 4.
