The 2007-2008 Health and Human Services Committee was chaired by Democrat Frank Oliver. He was joined in leading the committee with fellow democrats, Eddie Day Pashinski, Chair of Subcommittee on Drugs and Alcohol; Jake Wheatley, Chair of the Subcommittee on Health; John Myers, Chair of the Subcommittee on Human Services; and Tim Seip, Secretary. The Republic counterparts were George T. Kenney, Minority Chairman; Curt Sonney, Minority Chair of the Subcommittee on Drugs and Alcohol; Douglas G. Reichley, Minority Chair of the Subcommittee on Health; and Kerry Benninghoff, Minority Chair of the Subcommittee on Human Services.
