This collection consists of public hearing testimony, statistics, and information collected for and by the Select Committee, reports and research, press clippings and the preliminary report of findings. If a final report was written, it was not sent to the House of Representatives Archives. The Committee Chair was Democrat Mark Cohen. Members included Democrats Nicholas Colafella, Ronald Cowell, Jeffrey Coy, James Roebuck, Peter Wambach, and David Wright and Republicans John Davies, Lynn Herman, Fred Noye, Jere Schuler, Elinor Taylor, and Paul Wass.
