The 1987-1988 session of the Consumer Affairs Committee was chaired by Democrat Charles P. Laughlin of the Majority. Allen Gale Kukovich (Majority) served as Chair of the Subcommittee on Public Utilities. Robert L. Freeman (Majority) served as Secretary. Republican Edward Burns, Jr. served as Minority Chair. Kathryann Durham (Minority) served as Minority Chair of the Subcommittee on Public Utilities. There was no Minority Secretary.
