This collection is comprised of various materials that Jerry Stern produced during his time as a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 1993-2014. Stern chose to spotlight most, if not all, of his legislative work. This includes his annual support of state law enforcement and school directors. He also reintroduced legislation to ban expiration dates on gift certificates in Pennsylvania. In addition to his legislative work, Stern has a great deal of newspaper clippings detailing the movement to ban synthetic drugs in Pennsylvania, an issue of particular importance to him. There is also a collection of papers detailing his project of recording each Biblical saying displayed in the Capitol Building.
