The 1977-1978 Education Committee was chaired by James J. A. Gallagher (D). The Subcommittee Chairman on Basic Education was J. William Lincoln (D). The Subcommittee Chairman on Higher Education was Robert W. O'Donnell (D). The Secretary was Fred R. Milanovich (D).
Gregory White served as the Execuitve Director of the Committee and collected many of these files. Some of the topics discussed in the 1977-1978 Session were job placements, Special Education, the School Code, and career education.
