This collection contains materials relating to Cassidy’s service as State Representative of the 80th District and his work as a member of the legislative staff for the Democratic Caucus of the Pennsylvania State House of Representatives.� Campaign materials, correspondence, and some legislative research dating from Cassidy’s time as a representative can be found in the collection.� The majority of office resources, legislative work, subject files, and correspondence are related to Cassidy’s work with the Democratic Caucus and in the office of the Democratic Chairman, Mark B. Cohen.� Researchers interested in legislation regarding minimum wage, workers’ compensation, education, and issues of health and welfare will find this collection to be a valuable resource.� The collection also includes some materials related to Cassidy’s personal life, such as correspondence, photographs, and event programs.
