This collection consists of the records of Liquor Control Committee meetings, public hearings, discussions and analysis of various House and Senate Bills on issues of liquor distribution, consumption, and regulation, as well as subject files regarding divestiture, the drinking age, and gambling.� It also contains the records of the Subcommittee on Underage Drinking. Democrats were in the Majority.

The Chairs were Thomas J. Fee (Majority) and Stanford Lehr (Minority). The Vice Chairs were James M. McIntyre (Majority) and Frank Coslett (Minority), serving with Secretary Brian D. Clark (Majority).
