Campaign Materials

This collection contains materials relating to Knepper’s service as State Representative of the 43^rd District and Secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. Newspaper articles, mailings, and public relations documents regarding Knepper’s campaigns for these positions, as well as his campaigns for State Senate in 1976 and State Auditor General in 1980, are also included. Information about legislative work and some correspondence focuses upon House Bill 124 of the 1973-1974 Regular Session, which was primarily sponsored by Knepper and required public agencies to hold certain meetings and hearings open to the public.
