The majority of the collection is comprised of subject files from Belfanti's district offices. They cover various topics including road repairs, county commissioners, public spaces, the Shamokin Creek Restoration Project and other items important to his constituents. Other series include his membership in the House Labor Relations Committee, information on the closing of the Shamokin State Hospital in 1991, Belfanti's time on the Pennsylvania MILRITE Council in 1990, and Senate Bill 246 of 2008 which would add exemptions to the smoking ban in public places. The collection also contains campaign items, photographs, memorabilia, and oversized materials.
